COUPLE THINGS

1) Harlem Heights... its ok, interesting a lil... One of them dudes uses slang to damn much tho, its OD annoying *She's wavy, so swagged out* lol I'm like wtf, maybe they are trying to market Harlem to the youth as the next big thing....again. Then again, who knows maybe homeboy really talks like that. I know I use my fair share of unorthowords so its sorta all good.

2) Flo-ridahs so wack, who the fuck gave him another album?!!??

3) I don't care for Soulja Boy but damn that song stays in my muhfuckin head [turn my swag on]. Nigga is a clown and he knows it, he defenitely knows it and he don't care he just gettin his and because of that i can respect his hustle.

Anyway Ive been doing a little, wee bit of research into Stem Cell research. Its a subject that's been prevalent for years now but since its just been "re-legalized" by Obama I thought It wouldn't hurt to know what it is, lol.

1) Using the knowledge
Cons
"We should not mess with human life."
Potential for Human Cloning. Comparisions to early nuclear research
Pros: It could lead us closer to cure:
Parkinson’s Disease
Alzheimer’s Disease
Heart Diseases, Stroke and Diabetes (Type 1)
Birth Defects
Spinal Cord Injuries
Replace or Repair Damaged Organs
Reduced Risk of Transplantation (You could possibly get a copy of your own heart in a heart-transplantation in the future).
2) ABOUT THE METHODS INVOLVED
Cons
ethical issues do not justify the benefits.
"A life is a life and that should never be compromised. A fertilized egg should be valued as a human life even if it is in its very first weeks. Destroying human life in the hopes of saving human life is not ethical."
The scientific value has been overstated or has flaws.
Pros
"The benefits of stem cell research has such a great outcome, that it outweighs the ethical issues." (Cost-benefit-analysis)
"If someone is going to have an abortion, isn’t it better that we use it for something useful?"
Adult stem cells would not be that interesting because they do not have the same properties as stem cells from a fetus.
Another often mentioned advantage is that this research would give great insights about basics of the body.

I don't know about you but I'm all for it. Ive always said that "Progress is always welcomed". Progress is a good thing especially when its for the advancement of humankind. Shits crazy, they would be able to cure diabetes. Diabetes is a fear of mine, I dont have it but my Mother and my Aunt do [not to mention my Grandmother]. Ive seen how its changed their life and how it can send them in a tailspin if they don't regulate. Its crazy that they could get closer to cure it. Its been too long since we've been able to cure something. Maybe this could be the next step. I feel that the sky is the limit with this one. The fact that they take it from embryos is a bit crazy though. They only take the stem cells from aborted babies though. If their own mother don't want anything to do with the baby why not use the stem cells for something great! People get so attatched, they need to develop a new way of thinking. Yeah babies are babies but if they mom don't want em then why not? They can use adult stem cells but the stem cells from a fetus are better or some shit iunno [ i did say i did a little bit of research]. Overall I think its cool, go Obama, yeah Change people....
