I started work this past Monday and although it is RETAIL :-( Its iite. You gotta do what you gotta do in this time. I wanted a Resume polishing/ real real world job (with significant upward mobility and nice pay) The pay at Macy's is the lowest I've ever went for but its an on call gig so I'm going to keep looking. I went through two days of training/orientation The first day I sat in a room with this chick and we each practiced ringing up merchandise and all the other processes that would enable us to work in Macy's.
I said few words to the chick but at that moment I knew everything about her. The Human Resources lady left our files in the room with us and it was open so while everyone was at lunch I helped myself to her file. Don't ask I'm very curious and umm stalker ish lol. I knew her Social Security number but i wasn't finna do anything with it. I mean, that fucks up lives and besides I'm not ODing like that. Anyway, that situation made me realize that I'm mad curious about the people i meet. Like when i meet a chick I'd run her name through Google and while that didn't do shit 5-10 years ago. Nowadays it gets craaaaazy results.
The emergence of Social networks and blogs and people Using their real name on the Internet at an all time high, you can find almost anyone on google. Most of the people I've met I already knew their facebook or myspace before it was even brought out into conversation.
Back on my habit on googling people, once it worked and I found mad info on this chick like last year It instantly became common place. It's like the background check that take place, almost as a prerequisite. I don't ask for last names though, that would be weird. It comes through in conversation as we naturally progress and when i do get it eventually I'd go on google and find shit lol, Im semi subconsiously expecting to find that one of the girls im talking to has a criminal record lol.
- Wow the T.O. show is on TV already......Homegirl (Terrell Owens' Publicist) found her long lost older sister I presume (cuz she got emotional) ?? how convenient. How come in most reality TV shows something life altering happens. How lucky are the producers that they done picked the right time to film their show. :- / reality TV my entire ass.
